Common is the person who seeks eternal life by denying death. That is what the seeker-as-self is for. One roams the earth for a magical elixir of eternal life. Not finding it, such a one turns to technology, to merge with machines and become a spirit in one. One calls the ability to trade organic flesh for synthetic flesh advancement or evolution. Truly, it is same shit, different dawn.
Rare is the person who brings death into life and understands oneself as the ever-present case—not an eternity, but the now, the timeless moment—in which all time is included. Such a one does not live forever, but understands oneself as always.
Such a one thirsts not.
