Aloha! And welcome to stories of my life that may be lessons to some, guideposts to others, and examples of what’s possible because they happened to me, but are not necessarily indicative of what will happen to you. These are the little things, the personal sketches I did not write for Urgency. I think they may be beneficial here. They have been to me already—especially writing about how long it takes to “get it” vs. the saying that enlightenment can come at the snap of a finger. It can, but it depends on how one snaps and on what we’re talking about when we say enlightenment. I’ll flesh that out in posts to come. For now, I just want to let you know that these essays originate from a more personalized place and so the language is looser, less formal. Not that I’m a completely formal writer elsewhere, but more formal certainly.
Sometimes all this “Truth” talk sounds judgmental because the language used is precise and straight-forward. Many folks like the impersonal approach. Others find it a bit robotic. I find that it has its place but this is not that place. This is the place for comedy, drama, and the messy mistakes of the human condition put under a magnifying glass in the sun.
What led up to brain-Jeremy transcending into heart-Jeremy? What was it like before and after? What the hell happened next? You paid for this—Why hasn’t it happened to you yet?
So many questions. This place is about to explode. Let’s go.
